THE TEDDIES HAVE HIT THE ASTROTURF!
LOS ANGELES TEMPTATION AND NEW YORK EUPHORIA TO FACE OFF
AT THE BODOG.COM LINGERIE BOWL ON FEB. 5
Hollywood (January 29, 2006) – The dust has cleared from “Garter & Lace Championship Saturday” and fans of football
and frilly satin can look forward to seeing the two-time Eastern champion New York Euphoria and the two-time Lingerie Bowl champions
Los Angeles Temptation square off at the Bodog.com Lingerie Bowl (www.LingerieBowl.com). The Eastern and Western conference winners
will take the field at L.A. Memorial Coliseum on Super Bowl Sunday, February 5, to deliver an alternative, live Pay-Per-View show for
audiences eager to see halftime programming with a diaphanous difference.
In this afternoon’s Eastern competition, the New York Euphoria clinched a nail-biting, last minute win, although the Chicago
Bliss still held its own with plays that would have made the ’85 Bears proud. The Euphoria benefited from the return of a number
of veterans including stand-out Sheena Mariano. For the Western final the L.A. Temptation, headed by Playboy’s Miss April 2001
Katie Lohmann and 2000 Baywatch Babe Search winner Elisabeth Rouffaer, showed up with powerful running and commanding defense moves
making them the first team to potentially three-peat, thus creating the rematch of all rematches.
The point spread for the Bodog.com Lingerie Bowl on February 5 has the Los Angeles Temptation as the early favorite at -3 and the New
York Euphoria at +3.
The Bodog.com Lingerie Bowl airs on Sunday, February 5 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. EST/PST, offering a 90-minute sports and entertainment
extravaganza live on Pay-Per-View, for $19.95 (check local cable providers for availability. The highly anticipated halftime special
will feature bombshell Jenny McCarthy, all-around sports bad-boy Dennis Rodman, supermodel Cindy Margolis, 1985 Chicago Bear greats
William “The Refrigerator” Perry and Willie Gault, MTV personality Trishelle Cannatella, “American Idol’s”
Ryan Starr, model/actress Tamie Sheffield and Fox football analyst Mike Goldberg. Additional celebrities and entertainment components
will be announced in the final week.
